MY AMAZON RAIN FOREST ADVENTURE
I traveled to the Peruvian Part of the Amazon Rainforest where I camped for 3 weeks with the British Explorers Society.We went on numerous ‘tours’ with our specific fires (groups) whilst in the jungle, where we were exploring through treks, science projects, personal development and most importantly connecting to nature.
Giant Rare Trees
Whilst on my expedition, I experienced a various different types of wildlife from giant trees, plants to sloughs & huge hairy caterpillars.
Meeting The Locals
Whilst on my expedition, I interacted with locals from Pacaya-samiria reserve both young and old.We managed to do activities with the younger people such as arts & crafts and sports activities.I also got the chance to interview the leadership panel of this particular area.
Sleeping In Nature
Previously I had never properly camped after a few nights of staying in the jungle I started to love my new home known as a tent.
“Just last year, I didn’t know what a National Park was. Since then, I’ve been to 4 National Parks & plan to get round to them all.”
